Bringing in an expert speaker to discuss a policy topic and then host Q+A is another traditional and effective way to hold a CPF meeting. The Conservative Party is full of interesting policy experts - MPs, Candidates, leaders of associated groups and Think Tank professionals are usually very willing to meet with a local group, especially now we can host many meetings online.
The easiest format is to ask the speaker to share their thoughts for 10 - 20 minutes, and then invite people to ask their questions for 40 - 50 minutes. Where possible, ask for some questions in advance. Where possible, it is a good idea to record the event so people who could not attend the event can watch it back afterwards.
