The CPF was delighted to attend Hertsmere Conservatives’ “fish and chips” supper event to talk about the importance of influencing policy through the Policy Forum.
The event was extremely well attended by new and existing members of the Association and the local MP, Oliver Dowden. The debate covered many aspects of Government policy and in particular the importance of members responding to Government consultations (currently the Industrial Strategy and the forthcoming Housing white paper – links can be found on our website).
The CPF is delighted to report that following this extremely successful event, a new CPF group in Hertsmere will now be set up. Many thanks to the organiser, Cllr Seamus Quilty.
