Women in Public Life Survey

The CPF is delighted to be joining with the Conservative Women’s Organisation London this year to mark the centenary of women’s suffrage.

Statistics show that the percentage of women who are MP’s and Councillors is substantially less than the number of male representatives. Our joint initiative, seeks to investigate the issues and challenges faced by women in considering a role in public life and to find solutions/answers to them.

To begin with, we wish to explore the barriers which prevent people from deciding to seek election, across all political parties. We would therefore ask that CPF members (both male and female) to complete our survey and to pass it onto their colleagues and friends. All answers will be treated as confidential and an interim report on the findings will be published in Spring 2018.
