Education for one career for life is now the exception not the norm for most school-leavers and graduates. The world of work is being overhauled by flexible/hybrid/on-line working. Governments must therefore compete to attract, sustain and retain taxpayers.
Many schools, colleges, universities and employers do excellent work preparing pupils, students and workers for a changing world. However, how can changes in skills and employment training assist with the government agenda of levelling up?
Philip has forty years’ experience of reviewing and advising Ministers, Select Committees and Investors on high tech and skills policy. He has served on many advisory boards and committees and written extensively on the social and economic impact of new technologies.
