SW Region Conference: Brexit and Beyond

On November 4th, the South West Region CPF held a conference with the theme of Brexit and looking forward. Interest was significant: even after increasing the number of places available, they were full to capacity and ended up with a waiting list.

Cost of living submissions summary

The first CPF discussion paper of 2017 explored the cost of living and responses were submitted by CPF groups representing 136 constituencies and at least 1,123 members across the country. A summary was sent to the Chairman of the PM’s Policy Board but then the General Election was announced.

Conservative Values Discussion Paper

Last year, Lord Feldman’s Conservative Party Review found, “A general theme was that the Party does not tend to talk enough about values or use these to encourage membership.” This paper is a direct response to this feedback and a part of all that is now going on following the General Election:

Firstly, on behalf of the CPF Board, we want to thank all our Members again for all of their hard work during the Election campaign. Overseen by Christopher Fraser, as our Vice-Chairman at the time, the CPF mobilised volunteers in over 221 key seats – a great achievement.

General Election Update

The Prime Minister has announced that an election will be held on 8 June and Parliament has taken the necessary steps in Parliament to ensure that this can happen.

Barking CPF
