About the Event

Join us for a conversation on the future of our transatlantic relations with Benjamin Haddad (Director at the Atlantic Council in Washington DC) and Naweed Khan (Head of External Affairs (U.K. and Ireland), AT&T Warner Media). What does the Biden administration gave in store for transatlantic relations? How should the UK USA relationship evolve in a post Brexit era? 

Speakers for this event:

John Penrose MP: Chairman of the Conservative Policy Forum and the Prime Minister’s Anti-Corruption Champion.  He was previously a Minister of State in the Northern Ireland Office from November 2018 to July 2019. John was first elected as MP for Weston, Worle and the Villages in 2005.

Benjamin Haddad: Director at the Atlantic Council in Washington DC. He has been published in Foreign Affairs, The American Interest, Foreign Policy, the Wall Street Journal, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Politique Etrangère and is a frequent guest on France 24, BFM, CBC, CNN, Fox News, and NPR.   In 2017, Haddad was the Washington DC representative of Emmanuel Macron’s movement En Marche. He is author of Book: “Paradise Lost: Europe in the World of Trump.

Naweed Khan: Head of External Affairs (U.K. and Ireland), AT&T Warner Media. He has held positions as Special Adviser in both the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Cabinet Office of the UK government. Previously he was also the Executive Director of New Direction, a leading political foundation based in Brussels.
