We're pleased to announce the publication of our latest paper: "Britain's Housing Challenge - How can the UK increase housing supply, expand home ownership, and restore affordability for future generations?"
At a time when home ownership is out of reach for too many families and housing supply continues to lag behind demand, the aim of this paper is to set out the scale of the challenge and structural barriers within our current system, providing a backdrop for our members to produce practical solutions.
A copy of the Paper and Response form can be found under Current Papers on our website: CPFPapers
Please do submit your response by 31 March 2026 to CPF@conservatives.com.
A summary of responses to this consultation paper will be sent to the Shadow Secretary of State, Sir James Cleverly, alongside the Party Chairman, and the CPF Management Team soon after. We look forward to hearing your views!

Hello,
I was unable to join the housing forum in March but wondered what proposals came out. I have owned many house, renovated, built from new but now in retirement moving into a Park Home. Having downsides many times from my big detached house. I think a policy of modular housing and renovation our old housing stock is the way to go. Street appeal is low on Park Hones and Modular - but this should be tackled. From a energy perspective new Park Homes and modular score high. Modular also can be customised to HMO’s, single up to 5 bedrooms. Worth a thought. Good luck with by elections next week. Sue
